This and That

While Philly Sports fans will ride the high the Phillies World Series Championship a few months ago for years to come it seems that the Eagles loss hurt just a little bit more. This year looked to be the end of the Mc5 and Reid era in Philadelphia, but thanks to the big Oakland upset, Chicago loss & win over the Cowboys in Week 17 the Birds snuck into the playoffs. This was a mini-miracle in and of itself, but once in the playoffs all bets were off on what the team would do.

Round 1 saw the Eagles travel to Minnesota and stop Adrian Peterson and the Vikings. This was to be expected, but just added to ‘BELIEVE IN GREEN’ lure and the thought that maybe, just maybe this team could do the unthinkable. They weren’t supposed to make the playoffs especially with their sub-par record of 9-6-1. Yup in case you’ve been under a sports rock, the Eagles TIED the Cincinnati Bengals. (more…)
